'Shademaster' is slightly narrower than some of the other honeylocust cultivars. The small leaflets provide a pleasing dappled shade that is light enough to grow plants underneath. Relatively free of pests and diseases and tolerant of poor soil, especially in urban conditions. Great choice for green strips and street trees.
